Tickets can be bought online – bookings recommended.
Gift vouchers can also be purchased online. Booking for the Aqua Park isn’t mandatory, but we do recommend that you book online to make sure you don’t miss out on the session time you need.

The Aqua Park can be found at Black Mountain Peninsula, on Lake Burley Griffin. There is plenty of parking available in the Black Mountain Peninsula area on Garryowen Dve, and John Cardiff Close.

There is no charge for spectators accompanying paying guests. Spectators are welcome to watch the fun from the surrounding lawn areas of the Park.
All guests who would like to enter our Aqua Park (cordoned off) area will be required to sign a waiver.

Everyone using the park is expected to be reasonably fit. You must be able to swim to take part in our water-based activities.

Pregnant women will not be permitted to take part in our activities. If you have a medical condition, please consult your doctor before attending the Aqua Park. You are responsible for ensuring you are fit enough to participate.

All guests at Canberra Aqua Park are required to sign a waiver before entering the inflatable park. We require a parent or guardian (over 18) to sign for under 18s.

We will only close if the weather makes it dangerous to operate on Lake Burley Griffin; for example: during very high winds or electrical storms. If we need to cancel our activities due to poor weather, we will be happy to re-book your tickets for another day. Please note that we do not offer refunds.

There is plenty of free parking at Black Mountain Peninsula.
Canberra Aqua Park does not accept responsibility for loss or damage to any vehicle in the car park.

There are toilets located nearby in the Black Mountain Peninsula Park. There is limited space to change in this area, so it is recommended you come dressed for the occasion and ready for your session when you arrive.

We will be happy to change the time of your Aqua Park session up to 24 hours before your original session is due to start. Please note that we do not offer refunds.

We do not offer refunds. We will be happy to offer an alternative session time or issue a voucher to be used at a later date. We require 24 hours notice to change or cancel Aqua Park tickets.

Each session at Canberra Aqua Park runs for 50 minutes.
Sessions start every hour on the hour. Booking recommended.

Kids must be 5 years old to use the Aqua Park.
Kids aged 5 to 9 years inclusive (under 10s) must be accompanied on the inflatables by a paying adult (over 18). Maximum of 1 adult per 4 kids.

Yes, the Aqua Park is supervised by lifeguards. They start each session with a safety briefing. The lifeguards oversee general safety on and around the Aqua Fun Park. Parents are responsible for their children at all times and should continue to supervise them on the Aqua Fun Park.

The water at Black Mountain Peninsula is excellent quality. Frequent water tests are completed by the National Capital Authority (NCA) at various locations in Lake Burley Griffin, and Canberra Aqua Park will close if any tests come back showing poor quality. The Aqua Park will not re-open until advised by NCA it is safe to do so.

Lifejackets are mandatory for everyone using the Aqua Park. A rental lifejacket is included in the ticket price. We recommend that you also wear a rash vest for sun protection. No footwear of any kind is allowed on the inflatables.
